Privacy policy

Last updated 11 September 2026

This policy explains what Little Things Brands LLC (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit or buy from rubimelt.com, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do about it.

What We Collect

  • Order information — name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number if you give it, and what you bought.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processors. We do not see or store full card numbers.
  • Device and usage information — IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you reached the site, collected through cookies, pixels and similar technologies.
  • Advertising identifiers — identifiers and event data created when you arrive from or interact with our ads, including through the Meta pixel.
  • Messages you send us — the content of emails and support requests.

We do not ask you for health information, and you should not send us any. If you choose to tell us something about your health in an email, we use it only to answer you.

Where Your Information Comes From

Most of what we hold you gave us directly, by ordering, emailing us, or signing up. The rest is created automatically as you use the site, through cookies, pixels and similar technologies, or comes from the partners listed above — our payment processors, our fulfillment partner, and our advertising and analytics providers.

Why We Use It

To take and fulfill your order, process payment, provide support, prevent fraud, meet legal and tax obligations, improve the site, measure and target our advertising, and — where you have opted in — send you marketing email. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by emailing us.

Who We Share It With

We share only what is needed, with:

  • Shopify, which hosts this store and processes orders on our behalf.
  • Payment processors, to take payment.
  • Supliful, our fulfillment partner, and the carriers who deliver your order.
  • Email and analytics providers that help us run the store.
  • Advertising partners, including Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to show and measure our ads.
  • Authorities, where we are legally required to.

Advertising, Selling And Sharing

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not sell sensitive personal data.

We do share limited personal information — such as advertising identifiers, device information and actions you take on this site — with advertising partners including Meta, so that we can show you relevant ads and measure whether they work. Some privacy laws, including in California, treat this kind of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising as a “sale” or “share” even though no money changes hands. We are telling you plainly so you can decide.

You can opt out of this. Use our Your Privacy Choices page, or email hello@rubimelt.com and we will action it. Opting out does not stop you seeing ads; it stops us sharing your information to target them.

We also honor recognized browser-level opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends one, we treat it as an opt-out for that browser.

Cookies

Cookies and pixels keep your cart working, remember preferences, help us understand how the site is used, and support our advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the store may stop working if you do.

Other Sites We Link To

This site links out to places we do not control, including our social accounts and the payment pages our processors host. Once you follow a link, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We are not responsible for what they collect or how they use it, and we would encourage you to read their policy before giving them anything.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live — including California, Texas, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Oregon and other states with privacy laws — you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and why.
  • Get a copy of it, in a portable format.
  • Correct it if it is wrong.
  • Delete it.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, and of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • Opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. We do not do this.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We will not change your price or refuse you service because you did.

To exercise any of them, email hello@rubimelt.com from the address you used with us, or tell us enough for us to find your records. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may ask for more information if we cannot match you to an account or order.

We respond within 45 days. If we need longer we will tell you why, and we may extend once by a further 45 days where the law allows.

If We Say No

If we refuse a privacy request, we will tell you why in writing. You may appeal that decision by replying to us with the word “appeal”, or by emailing hello@rubimelt.com with your original request. We will review it and give you a written answer, with our reasons, within 60 days.

If we deny your appeal, you may complain to your state Attorney General. Texas residents can contact the Office of the Texas Attorney General at texasattorneygeneral.gov/consumer-protection. California residents can contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General.

Authorized Agents

You can ask someone else to make a request for you. We will need written proof that you authorized them, and we may still verify your identity directly.

Retention And Security

We keep order records for as long as needed to run the business and meet legal and tax requirements, then delete or anonymise them. We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Where Your Information Is Held

We are based in the United States and we ship within the United States, so your information is stored and processed here. Some of the providers we rely on — Shopify and our email, analytics and advertising partners among them — operate in other countries, which means your information may be transferred to and handled outside the United States. Where that happens, we expect those providers to protect it to the standard described in this policy, under the terms of our contracts with them.

Children

This store is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, or sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update this page and the date above.
